Simon Levin

Simon Levin is a potter and non-traditional  educator living in Central Illinois.  His work is exclusively committed to woodfiring, his life committed to the empowering potential of art.  Located in Central Illinois, his pottery has produced twenty-seven apprentices to date, built wood kilns in the US and around the world, and established an international presence.  A former Fulbright Scholar and Director at Large for NCECA, Simon has recently been advancing the frontiers of craft education through the creation of Cohorts.Art, a craft mentorship program.
